September 10th, my van lights front, and rear began flashing in a random pattern. There was no prior irregularity in any system. September 19th, I took it to a garage for repair. It is now October 20. The last communication I had was on October 14th saying that the module that was ordered was delayed in shipping.

I am a 70-year-old widow. The flashing lights caused me to have a seizure. I'm okay now and have been waiting for my van to be ready. Am I unreasonable?

I am sorry to hear about your troubles. The module in question is the BCM (body control module) which takes time on newer cars because the parts are not readily available. You can call the Honda dealer in your area (parts department) and ask them if they have one and if not, how long does it take to get it? That way you can see if the garage is correct or not. Here is the location of the BCM, left side of dash, so you know. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
