Electric front windows will not go up or down?

I can hear the motor running and it doesn't sound like the regulator is bad. It doesn't sound like anything inside the door is broken. I can pick them up manually with no problem. I can hear the motor for the windows come on once the switch is activated but the windows won't go up or down. It's just the ones in front. The rear windows work fine. What causes this?

It does sound like the window regulators are bad, this is common and can happen close to the same time. Here is a video of the job being done on a similar vehicle with instructions below to show you how on your car.
