After watching the 302/347 build, I am planning on building mine as close as possible. How is the belt run using an electric water pump? Will all my other accessories such as air compressor work with that style water pump? Also, how is the electric water pump wired? This is my first engine build, never done one before. Thank you again for the great series.

Hello,

So, on the electric water pump you would have to find a way to run the other accessories with tensioners and pullies.

We are not going to be doing that when we put it in the Bronco. Honestly, we put the electric pump on there just to go to the dyno and not have any mechanical drag on the engine.

What does that mean to you? If I were you, I would just use all the stock brackets, pullies, belts, and accessory locations. It will be much easier to route and space out correctly.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Thanks for watching!

Best,
Ryan
