Hello, the problem with my car listed above is the power steering intermittently goes out and when I turn the car off it resets. What is the problem and is there a fix for it that isn't costly?

It sounds like the electronic power steering module is going out or the steering motor is making the system reset itself. I would do a CAN scan which is easy to be sure, you can get a CAN scanner (Controller Area Network) from Amazon for about $36.00.

Here is a video to show you how:

Amazon CAN scanner link for about $35.00:

Here is the location of the power steering module which I would check the electrical connectors for corrosion which can cause the system to reset as well. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

Hello, appreciate the information, is the power steering module located under or by the steering wheel, if so, do locate it from the inside of the car? Thank you for replying.
