Turn A/C on the compressor kicks on and blows cold air. But the electric (cooling) fan does not switch to high speed. But I can take the pressure transducer switch and disconnect and the A/C clutch shuts off and fan kicks on high.

Hello,

It sounds like you have a HVAC module going bad or the system is a little low on charge. Also turn the AC on high and let the car sit in one place and watch it for fifteen minutes to see if the fan go to high speed. The system is pretty intelligent and will only run the fans when needed.

Here are some guides to help you get the problem fixed:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/air-conditioner-how-to-add-freon

and

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-use-a-test-light-circuit-tester

Here are some diagrams (below) so you can do some testing to confirm the problem.

Please let us know what happens, we are interested to see what it is.

Cheers, Ken

Turn A/C on blows cold air. But the fan does not kick on high. Can disconnect A/C pressure transducer and fan will come on high, but A/C will click off.
