No power to lights or instruments on dash. Will start but shuts immediately. No power to dash when key is on. will start then shut down have replaced the complete switch.

There is no 3.0l, just a 3.1l or a 3.8l.
Was this the headlight switch you replaced?
Does the engine immediately shut down after starting?
Is there any security or theft light on or flashing after bulb check?
Is this no power to the dash no power the the illumination (light bulbs) or the actual gauges or both?
