EGR valve hose keeps coming off?

Egr valve hose keeps popping off .

This happens when the DPFE control valve goes bad, which is usually because of a catalytic converter that is starting to clog up. Does the engine seem to have full power or is it low? This would be the cause of the low engine power problem as well.
