EGR valve gasket replacements

My EGR valve did not come with that "paper" gasket for the upper pipe. Can I use RTV or a liquid gasket, or should I look for an actual one?

go to an auto parts as they are special gaskets and not just paper they can set you up. picture is of a 2.4L as your engine picture is not shown but similar.
