Hi, I have a blue smoke problem on tick over once the engine is hot, have had the DPF filter sorted as diagnostics said.
However, the problem remains, would replacing the EGR valve solve it? Or any other ideas please?

Blue smoke on start could be oil in turbo from a bad seal or worn bearing. It could also be oil drain in head partially plugged and getting oil by valve seals.

Thanks for your reply, it only smokes once hot not on start up and when the DPF light is flashing it does not smoke at all.

Still could be valve seals, but scan for codes and if you like clean EGR valve and passages and check for a vacuum leak to DPF.
