Where is the EGR Transducer located?

1997 DODGE VAN
195,000 MILES • 5.2L • V8 • 2WD • AUTOMATIC

The vehicle listed above is a Ram Van 2500. Does not have EGR valve on that year. It shows an EGR Tranducer for that model and i have but can't find where it goes. Has signs of bad EGR valve.

Hi,

The transducer is usually mounted to the EGR. Take a look at the pic I attached below and let me know if that is similar to what you have.

Also, unless you have CA emissions, I don't think this vehicle has one.

Let me know. Also, let me know the symptoms you are experiencing and if there are any diagnostic trouble codes present.
