It seems there is a Event Data Recorders which is inside the PCM. Here is the location so you can check it out and install a rebuilt or used PCM which will have the recording delete are changed. Check out the images (below). Let us know if you need anything else.

Hi,

Toyota started sequentially introducing an event data recorder on their vehicles in 2000. However, they still have not included them on all vehicles. In 2006, there was not one on your truck.

Let me know if I can help in any way.

Take care,

Joe

Thanks. It's good to know I don't have it.
What speedometer change will i see if i change out the rims to 16 inch with 235/70/16? Are there any issues I may have with that size on 4 cyl?
Current has factory rim w 15 inch.

Hi,

What is the OEM tire size presently on the vehicle? I ask because the rim itself may or may not change anything. It is the outside diameter of the tire being used that changes things.

If you provide the OEM tire size, I can compare it to the 235 70 16 you are going to use.

Let me know.
