My car is a Euro version left hand drive. I need to replace the ECU and have found a used one with all matching characteristics except for the fact that it came from a right hand drive car. Can I use it? Does it make any difference the driving side?

I would contact BMW and quote the part no to see if it is comparable, you will probably have to get it re flashed as well, to bring it in line and up to date with your cars systems.
