I am trying to change my ECT sensor, and I do not know what wires to hook where. Is there a diagram you could send me that shows which wire goes to which wire?

Hi,

There should be two wires. One is yellow and one is orange with a black tracer. The sensor is basically a resister and receives a low voltage power signal from the PCM. The voltage passes through the sensor and returns to a sensor ground at the PCM. Based on temperature, the resister in the sensor changes the transfer of power.

Okay, why did I say all that? LOL It should work either way you connect the two wires. Power still has to travel through the sensor. I guess you would have rather had me say that first. LOL

If you have a different situation, let me know. Also, the aforementioned wire colors should be the only ones present.

Let me know if this helps.

Take care,

Joe
