ECT Sensor location and replacement?

This is my daughter's car, and I am helping her change her ECT Sensor. That was the code it threw when she had it checked. Where exactly is it located at? And how do I get to it?

It looks like the coolant temperature sensor is near the front of the engine by the thermostat housing. here is a generic guide to help you change it out by showing you the steps and I have included the location and replacement instructions in the images below as well for your car.

Start by draining the coolant. Check out the images (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

So, does that mean the ECT Sensor, and the CTS Sensor are the same thing?

Yes, there are the same thing, "electronic coolant temperature" sensor and "coolant temperature sensor".
