My truck is giving me three codes0118
1289 0453. I have a light that is coming on and staying on 95% of the time I will attach a video of it. When the light is on my temperature gauge does not work, when the light goes off it just barely goes up. The truck is not running hot we changed the thermostat and put new antifreeze in it. Every so often I can take my foot off the gas and the truck goes on its own and will actually accelerate on its own. We were told it could possibly be the ECT or the CHT but we're unsure if that's what it is, and we cannot locate the sensor. Also, my air has stopped blowing cold. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is correct that this could be just a sensor, but we need to start with running through the testing of one of these codes.

I would start with The P1289 just because that may include the other ECT temperature code.

I am attaching the code for the fuel tank pressure sensor as well, but I don't think you have an overheating issue at this point. It seems like just a couple sensor issues or even a PCM issue.

Please run through the testing that I am attaching below and let us know what questions you have on this.

Thanks
