how do I remove my ECM? I have removed the glove compartment and have access to it. Do I need to remove the air filter/holder on the left side of the engine compartment (looking rearward) to get to any plug bracket etc?

ECM will need to be programmed to your car for security system by a mechanic no matter what an auto parts store tells you. disconnect battery and follow pictures there is a special tool required. See pictures. you also need to remove cowl screen in front of windshield.
