Hi,

I have a 2006 206cc that seems to be consuming petrol, I filled the tank this morning and have driven approximately eighteen miles since, this has somehow used 1 line of fuel.

I'm noticing that the car seems to be consuming fuel like nothing, I'm maybe getting through a full tank every week, a Full tank should be giving me 440 miles approximately, but I'm lucky to get 120 miles.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

My thinking was perhaps the spark plugs and clogged fuel injectors.

Hello,

Is your vehicle's Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) AKA, "check engine" light illuminated? If it is can you please pull the codes for us. Having said that a tune up would probably do wonders for your vehicle. Spark plugs that are properly gaped, a new fuel filter, new air filter, new coil on plugs (If equipped with them), if not equipped with COP's then new coil packs and spark plug wires. This should up your mileage quite a bit. Please get back to us with what you find out.

Thanks,
Alex
