Suspension problem
Eagle Vision 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 166000 miles

I have what sounds like a banging noise when i put it in gear it kind of clunks then when i accelerate it sounds like it banging on the firewall started off just now and then but now it is almost constant was told maybe a bushing but im not sure which or where to look thanks

Hi there,

This is not that hard to do, but it is messy, and you have to know where the hidden bolts are.......
There are a couple from behind the sum bottom of Bell housing and two (i think) through access holes at rear of sump. these are often fill with mud and gunk and re not easily seen as sum bolts.
Tip, count the holes in the new sump gasket and make sure that you have all the blots out before pulling sump.
