Looking to purchase this vehicle for $2,195 (pictures included). It's a great looking car and everything is super clean inside and out. However, when I went to go test drive it, the dealer said that the reverse gear isn't working. He said when he first got the car the reverse gear was slipping but now it won't work at all. Before I buy it, I was just wondering if you could maybe tell me what could be wrong with it and how much I'm gonna spend to fix it?? Note: all forward gears are working still.

Hi njwonelovejnw, Welcome to 2carpros and TY for the donation

The only way to find out is to get it pressure tested by a reputable tranny shop could be one of the following, a clogged valve body, shift solenoid, servo and cluthes/bands problem. Costs of repairs varies with location. If it was me I'll pick one up at the junkyard and get a warranty on it
