Engine Mechanical problem
1991 Eagle Talon 4 cyl All Wheel Drive Manual

I am putting an engine from a 1992 eagle talon tsi automatic into a 1991 eagle talon tsi manual. Both are turbo and both were AWD. I already know the 91 is a six bolt crank and the 92 is a seven bolt crank. I know I need to get a manual flywheel. What else will be needed? Do I need an adapter as I noticed my six bolt flywheel bolts are longer than the 7 bolt automatic bolts. Is there anything else I need to complete this project?

If I recall, the flywheel for the standard is thicker. Thus the bolts are longer. You should be fine by just getting the correct flywheel. And the correct length bolts. Just double check clearance after it is tightened. Other than that, everything else should work.

Let me know if you have other questions.
