My wagon won't start. It has fuel and of course air and spark but I think the spark is weak. What would cause this? Do I need new plugs? Is there a module that needs replacing?

If you have weak spark you should suspect bad spark plugs, bad plug wires, and also a bad ignition coil.

Thanks blacktop555. I was thinking spark plugs also. Where is the ignition coil on the 1994 2.4 litre Eagle Summits?

Is it distributed or a distrubtor less modle or coil on plug?

Distributed will have a distributor.

Distributorless will have coil packs which you will have more then one.

Or coil on plug, which has one coil per cylinder but has no plug wires.

She has a distributor. So I guess the coil is underneath the distributor cap.

Nope! There is a coil under there, but not the one that provides the spark!

The ignition coil will be found if you find the spark plug wire that goes from the top of the distributor in the center, to what it hooks to is the coil!

Since its distributed you may have weak spark from a bad distributor cap and rotor.

When changing the cap do one wire at a time to not mix up firing order.
