1994 Eagle Summit Transmission will not engage

Transmission problem
1994 Eagle Summit 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Transmission will not engage after pressing gas before drive gear actually engaged and car jammed into gear. Car drove fine for about 20min. then begin to jump occassionally until it would not go forward nor backwards. Car engine starts fine, but transmission appears to not engage. Trans fluid is full.

HI there,

There will have been a failure with in the transmission, you will have to get a transmission specialist to test and report on this for you, he will need to run a few tests to determine what has actually failed, start here.

have a specialist check the valve body and clutch packs in your tranaxle
