About 5 days ago the car started going into limp mode. At first there were no warning lights, and therefore no codes. Finally got a P0087 and P00C6. The high-pressure fuel pump was replaced, and now 3 days later it is going into limp mode again. Dual fuel pumps.

Hi,

Have the same codes returned? I ask because the codes indicate an issue with fuel pressure again. The P00C6 indicates low pressure. The P0087 is a general code that is set if lower pressure is detected.

Have you contacted the place that installed the high-pressure fuel pump? It sounds like it may have failed again if the codes returned.

Let me know.

Joe

I have contacted them. Is there also a low pressure pump located in the fuel tank?

There are two pumps. The fuel pump assembly is a device that contains the 2 fuel pumps and the fuel sender assembly. The 2 fuel pumps are located inside the reservoir and supply fuel through the fuel pump assembly manifold to the engine and the fuel pump assembly jet pump.
