The HVAC is blowing only cold on the drivers' side and hot on the passenger side?

My dual climate zone HVAC is blowing only cold on drivers' side and hot on the passenger in all vent areas (upper windshield/upper body/floor locations). The passenger side is working as normal. Is this a blend door issue? What is the testing procedure on a dual zone climate control unit?

Yes, this happens when the driver's side temperature blend door actuator has gone bad. here is how to change it out, you want to confirm the problem you should do a CAN scan.
You can get a CAN scanner (Controller Area Network) which will work on most cars from Amazon.
