Car turned off and only shows two codes on max me scanner. everything else is okay.

This is a problem with the throttle actuator (2792)and 279A is a re learn abort code, the problem will probably be a failed throttle actuator, but i would get a BMW tech to do a deep scan to prove the diagnosis first, i would also be checking that the electrical connection is clean and tight and that there is no signs of loose pins or corrosion in the cannon plug.

Does that need to be programmed into the car , could it be a programming issue

unknown until it is diagnosed further with a scanner
