I have new body style extended cab 4WD Silverado 2500HD and the DRL lights are not working. Low beams are fine and come on and off automatically.
The electrical diagram I have shows DRL relay in printed ckt board under engine compartment fuse box. Is that correct?
All fuses okay and I have tried a used fuse box. No change in symptoms and truck ran fine with different fuse box.
I seem to be down to wiring from BCM, BCM, or input to BCM? I see the BCM inputs as park brake on, hdlp on and ignition on? Not sure if light sensor plays a roll and if it does can it work in the auto on function and not the DRL.

A lot of questions I appreciate any help. Thanks.

Hello,

Okay, In the diagrams down below I have included the factory diagnostic troubleshooting flowchart for your vehicle's Daytime Running Lights being inoperative. I have also included guides for findings opens in an automotive electrical circuit, short to grounds, intermittent electrical problems and poor electrical connectors, and finally a guide for finding unwanted resistance in an automotive electrical circuit by the Voltage Drop method, which is the preferred method to use. You will need to use a Digital Multi-meter to work your way through this flowchart, so here is a link to a guide on how to use one, if needed, below:

Please go through this flowchart and guides and get back to us with what you are able to find out.

Thanks,
Alex
