Can I drive my car with a bad air compressor?

Hi,

Are you referring to the AC compressor or something different? If it is the AC compressor, as long as the pulley still turns freely, it shouldn't hurt a thing. However, if it is locked or damaged, it will damage the belt.

If you want, you can remove the AC compressor fuse in the instrument panel fuse box. It is fuse 14 in the box. See pics below. If that is removed, the compressor will not receive any power.
