Any time the engine stalls due to having been driven through high water, there could be any number of components that got impacted. Generally speaking, the engine can shut off if water gets in it through the intake also if electrical components that could have been compromised.
When you turn on the key, do all the lights come on as it did before the engine stall?
When you try to start the engine what happens? Does it crank?
The best course of action would be to take step by step action to check off the possible causes.
First of all, you want to make sure the under-hood area is dry. Any standing water needs to be dried.
Check the engine oil for water. It could be a good idea to change the oil, so you know there won't be any contamination.

Check the air filter and intakes, make sure to clean and dry those components. Also, the throttle body needs to be cleaned/dried.
