When I am driving in town on the hwy or up a mountain the car is fine as long as the rpm's are over the 1,000-1,700 range. So when I speed up it is fine, but when it shifts it hits the lower rpm's and starts bogging out like it is shutting off. I got to double tap the pedal when going up hills wen driving 120kms down the hwy its drive/cruising idle is around 1,900-2,000. I just want my car to work. Please help me.

Welcome to 2CarPros.

A few things can be happening. Has the check engine light been staying on when the engine is running? Have you checked for fuel pressure issues? Have you checked for engine vacuum leaks?

Here are a couple links you may find helpful. I would first check for engine vacuum leaks and then fuel pump pressure. However, if the check engine light is on, have the computer scanned to determine specific diagnostic trouble codes.

Let's start with this. Let me know what you find or if you have questions.

Take care,
