drivetrain power cycles on and off

For past 2 days; after 15 minutes of driving my drivetrain seems to cycle on and off in 5-10 seconds each ....I added a 12 Oz bottle of gas line antifreeze &water remover three different times and checked gad cap for adequate tightness....engine malfunction indicator light is on... problem seemed to be improving after first bottle of antifreeze added ("on" cycle seemed to grow from 5 seconds to 20 seconds, but it remains unresolved....any ideas,

Im sorry, but im having a difficult time understanding what you mean when you say your drivetrain is cycling. Is the car stalling out or something? If you could please try to explain exactly what part of the car you are explaining or what the actual symptoms you are having are. Thank you!

Hi...a better description.....at approx 2900 rpm's, the fuel supply seems to cut off for 5-8 seconds, then re-engage, often with a sudden "jerk"....the engine does not shut down.....I had gone through a deep puddle the night it started. ....a buddy of mine said it could be a sensor that needs resetting.....thanks for your time and attention

umm...yea this is gonna be one of those things where unless you have a scan tool to hook to this vehicle to read values. Its just gonna be next to impossible for someone over the internet or even the phone to diagnose. The only thing I can think of the moment is maybe you a little water sucked in and possibly fried the Mass air flow sensor. I recommend you take it to a shop and let pro there take a look at it. You can try to unplug the mass air flow sensor and see if it runs any different. If it stays the same with the the same issues then that could be the problem.
