Broken trans-axle

XLS model. The trans-axle is broken. is it possible to make it two wheel drive by removing either the front or rear drive shaft and drive it like that until i can have it fixed?

Is there damage to the case?

It is internal damage all four wheels locked up and then loud grinding noise when i tried to drive. Would not even roll in neutral.
