We hit a rock and broke the support bearing. Now to replace the driveshaft, can I drive to pick up the replacement with the driveshaft removed? And is there any special alignment for the new driveshaft? Thanks

I don't think you can drive the car without the rear driveshaft because it will leak transmission fluid, there is no special alignment to speak of but here are the instructions on how to change the rear driveshaft out. I would drive a different car to pick up the replacement driveline. Check out the images (below). Let us know if you need anything else.
