Driveshaft carrier bearing making a clicking noise

i have a clicking noise coming from the carrier bearing in my vehicle, is it necessary to drop exhaust or can i get by without dropping exhaust?

Yes, you will need to remove the exhaust system and catalytic converter which I have included in the diagrams below, also you will need a tie strap to hold up the exhaust system once it is loose. Be sure to mark the position of the driveshaft before you take it out this generic guide will show you what I am talking about with specific instructions in the diagrams below.
