After replacing rear differential driveshaft it will not turn freely has bad clunking

Replaced rear differential. put driveshaft back on wont turn freely has bad clunking noise. what am I doing wrong?

Good afternoon,

Was there any noise prior to the replacement?

Does the noise sound like it is coming from the differential or the driveshaft?

I attached a picture for you. Remove the driveshaft bolts and turn the differential by hand and see if the noise is still there.
