Drive (serpentine) belt replacement instructions needed

When replacing the drive (serpentine) for the alternator, should I disconnect the battery terminals. Also, what torque setting is recommended for the bolts to tighten the drive belt.
And lastly, is it easy to install a new drive belt.

Hello,

In order to replace the drive belt, you will have to remove the right hand side wheel as well as the liner inside the fender well to access.

Disconnecting the battery is not necessary.

Number 1 talks about removing the passenger side wheel (you will have to jack up the vehicle and secure it with jack stand).

Number 2 is for removing the inner fender liner inside the wheel well (see picture below).

Can I just lift the hood and loosen the bolts and remove the drive belt?

When you access from the top, you might not be able to access the bottom pulleys when installing the new belt. This will prevent you from routing the belt through all the pulleys.
