Hello, I have a few questions about my 95 GMC Sierra 1500 4X4, It has a 5.7 L engine.
I was driving down the street one day and I made a right hand turn, just after I made the turn my whole truck started vibrating and then my front drivers side wheel locked up, then it was fine, But every time i make a right hand turn it vibrates and then locks up. My mechanic said it was most likely the CV AXLE, (so I got it replaced brand new) and it continued to do it. So my mechanic advised me that it might be a bearing. (so I replaced it) and it still keeps happening. It is fine for about 20 mins into driving but after 20 mins it starts acting up. If anybody can help me that would be great. Thanks

Has the front differential been checked? Also, are you sure the brakes on that side of the vehicle aren't locking?

I haven`t checked the differential yet but I will get it looked at if i have to. Its pretty scary driving it so I try not to, but how do I check if the brakes are locking up? I forgot to mention I just put new pads on but it was doing that before then. Do you mean the calipers?

I was thinking there may be an issue with a caliper. However, I'm more inclined to believe it may be related to the differential. Have you checked to make sure it is full of fluid and it that the fluid is clean?
