Driver's side blend door actuator?

Hi:

I need to know if you have automatic climate control or manual.

Regardless of which you have, this isn't an easy one. If you look below, I have attached a picture of its location along with the directions for replacing it. Note that the component is under the dash. On this vehicle, it appears a good bit needs to be removed to access it.

I am providing the basic directions for the automatic climate control. If you have something different, I need to know. Once I get that info, I can provide more detailed directions.

See pics below. Pic 3 indicates ATC. That is automatic temp control. Pic 4 is for manual. Note the things highlighted in blue. Those are the directions for accessing it. I will provide that once we confirm the system you have.

Thanks so much for the reply. I have automatic climate control. I should have included that detail when I posted the question. I've added an image of the controls to confirm.

It is the driver's side that is affected, not the passenger side. Heat always on the driver's side.

I want to thank you again for the reply, and to be more specific about the information I'm seeking.

Once I know where the DRIVER'S side mix door actuator is, I'd like to know what parts of the dash and/or center console have to be removed to access it, and in what order they have to be removed.

If I can at least get my hand or tool to access the actuator, perhaps I can force it to the opposite position until I have time to do the whole job and replace it, to keep the heat from burning my toes. It's the peak of summer here on the east coast of the USA, and driving with the windows down in 100F+ temps with heat blasting you in the cabin is rough, haha!

The passenger side seems to cool down some when I adjust the temperature for that side down to 65F, but not completely, as I suspect there is still hot air bleeding through the plenum from the driver's side. If I am off base here, please correct me.

This poor truck is falling apart on me, haha. I just had to replace the crankshaft position sensor, and I'll be doing the clock spring today, as my cruise control and stereo controls stopped functioning in addition to the airbag not being able to do it's self test at start. Constant blinking light on dash for airbag. If it's not one thing, it's another.

Thank you so much. I will search to define "lower dash side finisher", "kick plate" and "instrument lower panel RH" with an image to ensure I'm removing the correct portion before I get started. My Haynes manual shows how to remove the dash, but doesn't refer to the components with the same names.

I assume RH is right hand side? Is is correct that the driver's side air mix door motor is accessed through the passenger side, or am I reading that wrong?

I have time to figure it out, as I probably won't be able to get to it until the weekend.
