When I go over divots and bumps in the road usually makes more noise at forty five or more mph I hear a hollow constant thump almost like a blue recycling bin kind of noise over bumps in the driver side rear only. I have replaced strut/mount, end link, sway bar bushing and I cannot figure out what else it could be? It also made this noise before I replaced all the listed parts. Upper ball joint maybe?

Your best bet is to have the steering and suspension systems inspected at a tire and alignment shop. There are a number of things that are almost impossible to check when the car is not on a hoist. Control arm bushings are one of those culprits.

There are no ball joints in the rear.
