The headlight went out, replaced the bulb. They then said it was the module, replaced that went out again said connector come lose, reconnected, went out again then said wire harness replaced that, went out again. Please help save my pocketbook? I really don't want to take to dealer, if I had a few more opinions and am able to do it myself please inform me!

When you say module do you mean the headlight module or the lighting control module? You should do a CAN scan which is easy. You can get a CAN scanner from Amazon for about $30.00.

Here is a video to show you how. It sounds like the BCM is going out and it just resets when it cools down:

Here is a scanner link:

This will go over the entire car to see what's wrong with any module. It does sound like a connection problem if no codes come up here is a wiring diagrams for you to go over so you can see how the system works in the images below. Also, I have included how to change out the BCM just in case that is what needs to be done. Also, the lighting control module could be the problem if they did not replace it, this is the good thing about e CAN scan it can tell which one is out. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.
