The driver side electric window has power but stops after a couple of inches rolling up?

The driver's side window has power but will not go up more than a couple of inches and stops. Not sure if linkage or hung up on something. I’m afraid to remove the door panel as I don’t have the proper tools. The age of the truck makes me think the plastic locks holding the door panel are fragile and I’m afraid to try to remove the panel.

Yep, the window regulator has gone out which is common, you will need to remove the door panel to change it. Here is how the job is done in the images below. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
