I have checked fuses, relays, bulbs, changed multiple bulbs, and my bulb will work when the taillights are on but then again when I hit the brake light on driver side it does not light up.

Hi,

At the lamp assembly, there should be a white wire with a tan tracer. See pic attached. Have you checked that wire on the left lamp assembly for power? I ask because the light socket itself may be failing. If there is no power, we need to trace that wire to where power is found.

Also, the bulb you're installing is a dual-element bulb, correct? (Bulb 1157)

Let me know.

Joe

If you are getting power, confirm there is continuity to ground via the black wire. If there is, then the socket has likely failed.

Let me know what you find.
