Driver Side Blend Door Actuator replacement procedure needed?

My car listed above blows hot on the passenger side and cold on the driver. It is dual climate control, and no matter what I do, each side keeps blowing hot and cold, respectively.

I believe I need to replace the driver side blend door actuator, but the brake pedal assembly is in the way of the top screw, and I have no idea how to get to it. Since this is a hybrid the brake pedal assembly isn't as straight forward a removal process. I need help!

Can you send an Image or short video because in the instructions it says you need to remove the accelerator pedal not the brake pedal? Here are the instructions for AllData so you can see for yourself. Can you get shorter tool to remove the mounting screw? Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes.
