Driver door latch

Driver door closes and catches but will not close completely. From inside the car I can push door about an inch and a half. No matter how hard I push or pull the door will not close completely.

Hi Eric,

Check the door latch striker adjustment, it could have gotten loose. Open the door and slowly push it closed. When you hear a click, stop, pull door outwards, not on handle, just on door to see how far it comes out before the latch prevents it from moving. If it is far out, push it inwards and if you hear another click and door is now more flush with body, it would mean the latch is out of adjustment and can be rectified by readjusting the striker.
