Driver blend door actuator location?

My A/C blows hot from the driver side, but cold on the passenger side. I removed what I thought was the blend door actuator, but I believed I removed the mode door actuator instead. I used the diagram for a Ford Fusion thinking this was the correct one, as it was the lower actuator (I can't see another actuator on the driver side). Can you help me identify the correct actuator and its location please?

Hi,

You need to remove the accelerator pedal to access the driver's side. I attached the directions below which are vague. However, I also attached the directions for removing the pedal.
