I have been to a Mercedes dealer. They put motor mounts on my car because the car makes a bang sound when it backs up. Another mechanic changed the boot. The last mechanic put on a new driveshaft I am $5,000 in the hole and no problem has been fixed could you give me your number, or you can call me I am at my dog's end.

Noises can be hard to diagnose without hearing them. Could you make a short video of the sound and post it for us to hear? Also, you say it makes the noise when you back up. Does the car have to move to hear it? If you just start the engine, hold the brake and shift into reverse does it bang? How about if you apply some throttle in the same situation? Can you hear where the sound comes from, like up through the floor under the seats, or does it sound like it's in the trunk or in the front? Is there anything like a pattern to it, like it only happens on an incline, or only if you back up and step on the brakes?
