While going faster the noise increases. Possible drive-train issue?

Hi Dstill01,

This could be in the drive-train but more than likely it is a wheel/tire, hub/rotor, or an axle.

If it is in the drive-train it normally happens more when you are accelerating and then get less when you let off the accelerator. This is loading and unloading the drive-train so the vibration comes and goes with that.

It could also be a driveshaft. Again, this would be when you accelerate.

It would help if the noise is loud enough to get a recording of it, I can try and identify it because I could be imagining something totally different than what it is doing based on how you described it.

Let me know if you can get the recording and we can go from there. Thanks
