Drive belt tensioner idler replacement

2007 TOYOTA MATRIX

The tensioner idler is loose and starting to make noise. I have purchased the idler pulley and the socket to remove the pulley. Is the nut right hand or left hand threads? The tensioner is fine. My auto listed above is an XR.
