doors side door wire broken

The gray wire inside the drivers side door boot is broken. where does it go to?

It appears to be the driver side door lock actuator (motor). This is a common problem inside those boots since they are moving constantly as you open and close the door everyday. You may have to pull the door panel off and find the other end of the broken wire.
