Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, we are going to have to get the door panel off as we have to access the inside of the door to repair this.
However, this is not going to be easy with the door closed.

I am not sure if this is even possible with on this door as I have not tried it, but the only recourse may be to cut the door panel off in order to open the door. Then we will have to replace it.
Once we are in the door, then we will have to test the actuator and switch just to find out which has failed. Here is a video on how to do this testing. This is for a window switch, but the testing is the same for a lock.

Below is the process to remove the door panel which will show the location of the clips just in case you are able to get the panel off with the door closed. Otherwise, we will need to cut a hole in it and remove it.
