I have the left rear door and I cannot open it from inside or outside. I started to take out the cover, I reached the actuator, when I am pressing the button from the key I can hear a noise in the actuator, but does not want to open at all. I need some ideas. Thanks!

Hello, the latch is actually jammed in limbo for the most part, this is common with VW handles and latches. The best bet is to gently bang around the latch until you can get it to free up. There is not much access from the window to the latch you can only keep pressing unlock and bang on the door to try and get it to free up.

I already did this few times. I will keep bang there, I will spray some WD40 maybe something will happen. I am hopeless anyway. Thanks for your answer!

Is there a chance the lock is engaged due to the lock rod loose/missing/fallen off?

Here are some diagrams that may help you.

Please let us know what happens.

Cheers, Ken

Hello fellows! Today I sprayed the amazing WD40 allover the mechanism, I pulled out the door seal and I applied some spray there close to the latch. After I pulled the wire for the first time the door opened. Job done without any cost, everything is in good working condition now. Thank you all!
